Valais at Plumpys Peaceful Pastures

One day I received a phone call from Randal Ford's assistant looking for Valais Blacknose lambs to photograph for his 3rd book his was writing called "Farm Life". I had posted a picture of one of our recently born Valais Blacknose Lambs on our facebook page and from that moment Randal knew he had to have the Valais Blacknose Breed of sheep in his newest book. Randal shipped his studio equipment to our home and hired a local assistant. He and his main assistant flew from his hometown of Texas where they would set up the photography studio in our barn for the next couple of days. The next 2 days were fun filled days spent with Randal and his crew while they photographed several our sheep along with a fellow friend who lives close by with her unique animals. We spent many hours chatting, visiting and sharing a meal with Randal and his crew in addition to working alongside them in the newly constructed temporary barn studio.

His clients include some of the most prestigious advertising firms in the world. Randal has written 3 books and our sheep are in his third book “Farm Life” . It was such an honor when Randal’s firm reached out to us wanting to photograph our sheep for his book. Randal and his assistant flew from Texas while he also hired a local assistant .
